Blessing of Vehicles and Riders:
Refrain: Those who hope in the lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
Lord, as I ride, be by my side, protect me from calamity and danger, teach me respect for other riders, renew my spirit and nurture my soul and bring me safely home again.
Refrain
Lord, be with me in all conditions of your creation that I may respect their gifts and their curses: wind, rain, sun, hot and cold.
Refrain
Lord, teach me to care for others who I encounter as I travel that I might offer directions, assistance, and care and protect me from those who would do me harm.
Refrain
Lord, give me an alert mind, keen eyes, quick reflexes, good judgment and patience with myself and others to maximize the gifts of my rides.
Refrain
Lord, give me courage, strength of spirit, and hope should calamity or
crisis come, and renew my spirit with your power, your peace, and your love.Refrain
Lord, I give you thanks for those riders who have traveled this road with me, and who now reside in your presence, may my memories of them bless me all of my days as I give you thanks for the ways their lives touched mine.
Refrain
Finally, for the peace, serenity and freedom my time on my ride gives me, I give you thanks; for all those who ride with me and whom I meet that bless me.

Prayer of Blessing:
May God in Heaven fulfill abundantly the prayers which are pronounced over you and your bikes on this occasion of the Blessing of the bikes. May God bless your going out and coming in; May the Lord be with you at home and on the road. Psalm 121
I
will lift up mine eyes unto the mountains:From -whence shall my help Come?
My help cometh from God,
Who made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
God is thy keeper
God is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day
Nor the moon by night.
God will keep you from all evil;
He will keep thy soul.
God will keep thy going out and thy coming in
From this time forth and for evermore.
Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory. Amen.
